Previous experience within the transport sector would be an advantage, although not essential, as this course is designed to cover all he set modules required for the CPC in Road Haulage qualification essential for the role as Transport Manager.
It is vital that delegates attend the full duration of the course for their own benefit and preparation and to commit fully as “homework” will be set most evenings in addition to the training days. This typically involves self-studying some of the 30 modules to be covered and following up with a recap and test of each section the following day.
The results of the examinations, which are also conducted at our approved centre, will be provided directly to the delegate and/or employer the same day we receive them from the NLTC exam board following marking – within approx. 6 weeks.
This will be followed up with an official Ofqual regulated certificate of the qualification.
The training will cover all 30 modules of the Transport Manager CPC requirement, which includes:
- business and company law
- financial management
- commercial conduct
- business taxation
- drivers’ hours records
- planned preventive maintenance
- vehicle costing
- driver licensing
- traffic accident procedure
- mechanical conditions – plating & testing / fleet inspections & enforcement
